You may notice something new on Canadian drugstore shelves this month (it’s already available in US stores – good things come to those who wait, Canada). Tweezerman, known for their precision tweezers and beauty tools, is expanding their portfolio beyond plucking, tweezing, and trimming with a new product line: makeup brushes. The Tweezerman Brush IQ collection will be the first of its kind for the brand, and features a set of 12 synthetic brushes: powder, blush, foundation, pointed concealer, flat top foundation, line glider (eye liner), shading, contour concealer, pointed foundation, brow, blender, and finishing contour.
Each brush is made out of DuPont™ Natrafil® Technology, which was designed to act like natural hair cosmetic brush fibres, but offer a more hygienic surface and even application. I had a chance to test out the brushes in person, and the bristles are lightweight, soft, and smooth. Each brush has a sturdy plastic handle, and the brushes have a slight resistance as you’re applying your makeup (which for me, means no excessive bristle fanning, unabsorbed makeup, or embarrassing “do I have something on my face?” moments).
Tweezerman Brush IQ is available August 2014 in London Drugs stores across Canada and online at Tweezerman.com.
