Every woman needs a purse that can carry her sunglasses, wallet, favourite lipstick, moisturizer, business cards, cell phone, keys, and gum.

Come to think of it, I may need a bigger purse.

When I found this roomy bucket purse at the Salvation Army for just $5, I couldn’t pass it up.  The hunter green pebbled leather and the gold hardware gives this purse twice the character and charm.  The camel accents and drawstring closure add detail to any outfit, while the unique size and shape is both practical and pretty.

While taking advantage of a sunny April day in Vancouver, I combined my $5 vintage purse with a camo print jacket from Banana Republic and my favourite Frye riding boots.  Between my purse chock-full of essentials, perfectly broken-in Flying Monkey jeans, divine Doir scarf, and my big coach sunglasses, I’m ready for anything that the day throws at me.
