In my opinion, summertime long weekends are made for sleeping in, reading in bed with the windows open, beach days, cold beverages, and warm sunshine. Since the nice weather really only arrives in Vancouver for a few short months each year, I try my best to pry myself away from my desk and get outside.

This past long weekend in Vancouver was nothing short of glorious; the city was celebrating BC Day (I know, it sounds like a made-up holiday to anyone that doesn’t live in BC – it’s real, I promise), and there was nothing but sunshine and blue skies as far as the eye could see.  In fact, it was so great that I think we should do it again sometime very soon.
