Somewhere deep down inside me, there’s a lumber jack that’s itching to get out. Maybe it’s my Canadian roots, but it’s hard for me to resist a good flannel shirt. Flannel walks the fine line between between comfort and style, and is much more versatile than it seems. I wear it with everything from pencil skirts to pinstriped pants, and am cozy while I do it.
On a sunny Saturday in January, I embraced this fashionable piece of Canadiana, and completed the look with a pair of waxed cotton jeans, my new favourite boots, a floppy hat, and my $5 Thrift Store Score wool sweater.
