Have you ever looked at an outfit from a runway show and thought, “I could never pull that off”? Well, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: you’re not really supposed to.
Runway fashion is often extreme and shouldn’t always be emulated exactly—but that doesn’t mean that it can’t inspire you. Fashion shows are a great place to gain fearless fashion inspiration and discover new trends that will revitalize your sartorial game. To translate a trend from the catwalk to the sidewalk, scale it back and infuse it with some of your own style for a look that’s truly you.
Print mixing is nothing more than organized chaos; combine prints of similar size, pattern, and palette to perfect this trend. Mix up to four patterns for a bold, eclectic look, or keep it simple with two patterns that complement each other.

BOLD AND DARK LIPS
Dark lipstick used to intimidate me, but it’s now one of my favourite fall beauty trends. To pull this look off successfully (i.e., to avoid looking like me during my high school punk years), combine a dark lip with natural, minimal makeup. Complete your beauty look with a dusting of blush and highlighter on your cheekbones for definition and warmth.

Quite possibly one of the most comfortable trends to sport, this look is achieved by simply combining different shades of denim for effortless style. To avoid looking dated or washed out, choose hues that are noticeably different and accessorize to add colour and/or texture.

I like layering clothing, but I love layering accessories. To try this trend, wear jewellery that you already own in a new way by layering necklaces, rings, or bracelets. To avoid looking like a thrift store jewellery rack, pick one type of jewellery to pile on and keep additional types to a minimum (or none at all). This look works best with minimalist jewellery like gold rings, silver necklaces, or chain bracelets.
